Part 1: Buggy Safari Tour
- Pick-up from your selected Reykjavík hotel or nearest bus stop.
- Safety & Gear: Meet your guide, receive a safety briefing and get equipped with all necessary safety gear.
- Scenic Buggy Ride: Ride through the countryside near Lake Hafravatn and along mountain trails toward Reykjavík Peak.
- Spectacular Views: From the top, enjoy panoramic views of Reykjavík, Faxaflói Bay, Mount Esja and the surrounding volcanic landscape.
- Experience Required: No previous buggy experience is necessary.
- Driver Requirements: Drivers must be 18+ and hold a valid driver’s license. Passengers must be 7+.
Part 2: Reykjavík Bay Jet Ski Adventure
- Downtown Pickup: After your buggy adventure, return to downtown Reykjavík for your jet ski transfer.
- Safety & Equipment: Transfer to the jet ski base, receive a safety briefing and get fully equipped before heading onto the water.
- Jet Ski Adventure: Explore Reykjavík Bay with stunning views of the city skyline, coastline, Viðey Island and the surrounding mountains.
- Drop-off: Return to your hotel or the nearest bus stop after the jet ski adventure.
- Driver Requirements: Jet ski drivers must be 18+. Passengers must be 7+.
- No Experience Needed: No previous jet ski experience is required.

I've never driven a buggy. Is that difficult?
No, our buggies are very easy to drive. They are automatic machines that you will master in only a few minutes.
Do I need off-road experience to drive your machines?
No prior experience is needed. You will be driving an automatic 4-wheel-drive UTV with a full roll cage and long-travel suspension. It has the same controls as any automatic car or truck. Put the shift lever into drive and go. Even shifting into 4-wheel drive is just the push of a button.
What clothes should I wear?
Wear something you don't mind getting wet and/or dirty. It is a very good idea to bring an extra set of clothing. Wear a warm base layer (the one touching your skin); wool and synthetic materials are best.
What safety riding gear do you provide?
We provide our customers with a helmet, gloves, a balaclava and waterproof overalls.
What is the minimum age of buggy drivers and passengers?
The minimum age for buggy drivers is 17 and the minimum age for passengers is 6. A driver's licence is required.
Are these buggies safe?
Yes. These buggies are very safe. They are built with a low centre of gravity, so they are not tippy, and passengers sit in a 4-point harness inside a complete roll cage. They are much safer than ATV quad bikes.
What is the pace of the tour?
You set the pace of your tour. The pace always depends on the slowest driver. The tour is not a race. It should be fun, and you will also be able to enjoy the scenery.

They were designed with quality, performance and safety in mind, and their long-travel suspension provides the smoothest ride possible over rugged terrain. Will the tour be cancelled if it's raining?
